I recently found out about Cloudflare. How in the word of web developing did I not learn of this sooner? It’s amazing, but all it’s features are for another post. This is just a quick post to help anyone using the Google Chrome extensions Ghostery.
After activating Cloudflare on a small handful of our domains, I quickly noticed that I didn’t see any Google Adsense on those domains anymore. After chatting with the helpful support over at Cloudflare, it finally hit me…. Ghostery might be blocking the ability for Adsense to set cookies, thereby not showing me any ads.
The fix was simple, just disable the extension Ghostery, and everything was back to normal. I haven’t re-enabled it just yet, and I’m sure there is just a setting I can set to allow adsense, but for now I’m a happy camper because everything is working as it should.
